ROTC Scholarship Agreement

The following guidelines should be followed in deferring fees for military service students:

A specific contract is not necessary between the student and ROTC/University, as this format is not required of other students receiving financial assistance. Registration for courses creates the obligation on the part of the student. Withdrawal within specified time frames either obviates the charges or has no effect.
The University should not be a party to an agreement for extended monies to cover book expenses subject to reimbursement by the Service concerned.
This procedure is in no way intended to establish precedent for other forms or classifications of financial aid, since specific Federal Government fiscal year considerations are the primary driving force.

The form entitled "Scholarship Acknowledgment" should be completed and signed by the student.
