Construction Change Directives

In order to expedite approval of minor changes in construction contracts on the Fayetteville campus, Construction Change Directives in Facilities Management may be signed by the Director, Engineering and Construction or the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities within the following limits:

• Additions to the construction contract shall not exceed $25,000
• Credits to the contract shall not exceed $50,000

Any Construction Change Directives that exceed these limits will be signed by the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration.

Prior to approving a Construction Change Directive, the available funds and the appropriateness of the nature and cost of the change will be verified by Facilities Management.
