Vehicle Safety Belt Policy

All University personnel must wear safety/seat belts at all times while operating University/State vehicles/equipment in or on which such belts are provided. Removal, cutting, or to any other way render safety/seat belt systems inoperable is strictly prohibited. This policy is entirely for the benefit of users, and its sole aim is to reduce injuries sustained in case of an accident. The safety and protection of persons will more than compensate for the inconvenience of "buckling up."
