Prizes and Awards

The policy governing prizes and awards on the Fayetteville campus has been determined to be out-of-date, and has therefore been removed from the official published Fayetteville Policies and Procedures. A campus-wide committee has been appointed and tasked with writing a completely new policy to govern these activities.

Out of necessity, however, new procedures have been developed in the interim to handle non-monetary awards that are given as recognition of service or for achievement. Procedures for non-monetary awards can be found on the Business Services website under the title Payments for Employee Awards (tangible, non-cash such as trophies, plagues, etc.) (Direct Awards).

The new policy, once finalized, will include provisions for all prizes and awards, both of the monetary and non-monetary varieties.
