Athletic Department Sports Camp Telephone Use

A sport camp may designate one telephone line for use in conducting camp business. The number may be printed in brochures with designated hours of phone attendance. When not attended by a camp employee, an answering machine may be connected. Athletic Department staff are directed not to conduct camp business while they are on University time. Coaches whose employment responsibilities to the University have been fully discharged may man the designated phones.

The department will be reimbursed for the explicit costs of the use of the line for a period beginning with the first appearance of the number in a publication through the closing date of the camp. The Athletic Department business office shall be advised at the time of brochure mailing, or first publication using the number of the University telephone number to be used.
